Tony Brown
Tony is a Senior Analyst on Informa Telecoms & Media's Broadband & Internet Intelligence Centre research portal. He is also Editor of the company’s leading pan-Asia-Pacific communications publication ASIAcom and also collaborates with colleagues on Informa's Asia-Pacific focused media and telecoms publications.
Tony is responsible for directing Informa Telecoms & Media's coverage of the broadband and Internet sectors in the Asia Pacific regions with particular focus on operator strategies as well as technical and regulatory developments.
His editorial work covers a range of topics including Next Generation Access, DSL, cable, WiMAX and IPTV and he produces a wide range of content including news, analysis, executive briefings and reports on a wide variety of topics.
As well as his editorial work Tony is also a regular speaker and chair at international conferences covering the broadband, Internet and broadcast sectors and regularly briefs international clients on latest industry developments.
Based in Australia, Tony has been covering the Asia Pacific communications sector since joining Informa Telecoms & Media in 2000.
